Privacy policy

The protection of user personal data is our main priority. The Terms and Conditions on Personal Data Protection inform users about the manner of protection of their personal data on JobLife.
This document supplements the Terms and Conditions of Use.
JobLife strictly observes the following basic Terms and Conditions on Personal Data Protection:

  • JobLife collects, stores and processes user personal data, according to the Act 428/2002, 90/2005 Coll. on personal data protection.
  • JobLife undertakes to make use of user personal information only to provide personalized services. At the same time JobLife undertakes not to sell any user personal information to any third parties for other purposes than those which constitute a part of the services provided on the portal.
  • The nature of services implies that the particular users will share their basic information.
  • Persons who are not registered on JobLife can only access limited information provided in public profiles of individual users. They do not have any access to contact data of users.

 

Registration data

When registering on JobLife it is important to specify the data which is necessary for the proper functioning of provided services.Data required for registration include:

  •     Name and surname
  •     State and city
  •     User’s field of employment
  •     E-mail address

According to the chosen career status it is required for registration to fill in one of the following items:

  •     Current employment (employee, company owner)
  •     Previous employment (unemployed , retired)
  •     Education (student, graduate)

 

User Profile Data

After registration, all users have an option to enter the following data into their profiles on JobLife:

  •     Previous and current employment
  •     Education
  •     Personal or professional websites
  •     Special skills
  •     Additional information
  •     Photograph

At the same time, a user public profile is activated after registration and this is accessible to all users, even to those who are not registered. Upon the registration, all users can set their personal data which are to be displayed in their public profiles.
Users included in direct and mediated contacts of a particular user are able to view all the data entered in his/her personal profile. The same applies to Business and Business Nonstop Account users. If users choose to hide their names from people who are not included in their contacts in the account settings their profiles will be only displayed to their contacts and they will be no longer available in the search of public profiles. Contact e-mail address is only available for direct contacts. A direct contact between particular users is established by mutual confirmation of both contacted parties.

Communication between users

Communication on JobLife is provided by means of various types of messages which users send to each other. It is not typical sending of e-mails but safe communication which functions exclusively on JobLife, whereas users choose to show or hide their contact details.
JobLife offers absolute control over the viewing of contact details.
 

Communication with JobLife

JobLife communicates with its users via e-mails and messages on portal sites. This communication includes the messages about changes in contacts and news on the portal. If users wish not to receive any information messages, they can easily deactivate the sending of such messages at the address podpora@joblife.sk

Removal of Data from Database

All registered users have the option to cancel their registration by filling out the Cancellation of Registration form. After completing and verifying entered data, the registration shall be removed within 7 days.

Changes in Privacy policy

JobLife reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of Personal Data Protection if it is necessary to modify this protection. All users will be informed about any potential changes.
