Terms & Conditions of Use

Welcome to the Terms and Conditions of Use of JobLife portal service. The Terms and Conditions inform about services offered and conditions which are binding for service users. JobLife portal (“JobLife”) is operated by:

LifeWeb Company Ltd. (the „Operator“) reserves the right to change The Terms and Conditions of Use any time without prior notice, whereas any changes will be prominently displayed to JobLife users. By using JobLife users agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use.
The Operator’s activity shall not be the intermediation of work for reward under the Act no. 5/2004 Coll. on employment services and on the supplementation and amendment of certain laws as amended.

 

Service description

JobLife is a career portal which allows its users to build and expand their careers more effectively. By creating a network of professional contacts, users can effectively build relationships with new trading partners, potential employers or experts in various fields.

Using JobLife Services

JobLife services are designed for people over 18 years. Each person can create only one Joblife portal account. Users whose accounts have been cancelled due to the violation of the Terms and Conditions of Use shall not be entitled to any compensation due to the cancellation and loss of account information.
Trade and migration of user accounts between users is prohibited.
It is the responsibility of users to keep their access passwords confidential. Therefore users shall be responsible for all activities done from their accounts. Should users detect unauthorized access to their accounts, it is in their interest to immediately report such an event to the JobLife customer support.
JobLife shall not be liable for any loss or theft of information stored on the portal under user accounts.

Users agree not to use JobLife for any of the following:
1.   Disclosure of information and discussions on issues which are illegal, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene or in breach of good manners;
2.   Abusing identity of other persons and creating profiles of other persons, creating personal profiles which does not correspond to actual data, such as giving false name, profession, education and additional information;
3.   Forwarding, storing and distributing the content or initiating communication on matters which infringe patents, trade secrets, trademarks or other rights of third parties;
4.   Creating unsolicited or unauthorized advertising messages, spam and pyramid schemes, sending of any unsolicited messages to their contacts and other users of the portal;
5.   Defamation or any distortion of the personal freedoms of other users;
6.   Publishing inappropriate content on places which are not fit for such purposes, such as placing address instead of name.

Account Cancellation on JobLife

JobLife reserves the right to cancel user accounts without prior notice in the following cases:
a)   violation of the Terms and Conditions of Use or violation of applicable laws of the Slovak Republic by a particular user;
b)   occurrence of an accident or technical problem which prevents the provision of service;
c)   services of JobLife not used for a long time by a particular user;
d)   request for account cancellation by a particular user.

Viewing Data on JobLife

Exchanging and sharing personal information among JobLife users is clear from the nature of service. Users are aware of the fact that the information they have provided on their profiles is partially or completely shared with other users based on the type of relationships they have established among themselves. Users are aware that some information on JobLife is displayed in a format determined by the Operator. JobLife shall not be responsible for any incorrect information submitted by users.
JobLife shall not guarantee the identity of individual users logged in to the portal and it shall not be responsible for the accuracy of data or individual identities and their relationships.
JobLife reserves the right to change a company’s name that appears anywhere on the portal when the entered company’s name does not match with its official name.

Access to Service and Data Control

Access to the site using a variety of robots and automated data processing software is prohibited. It is forbidden to enter any JobLife site to other sites, e.g. by using “frame” function or otherwise replicate the look and functionality of the portal.
JobLife has the right to control the information entered by users, however, it shall not guarantee the credibility and veracity of data.
If you find any information or content that in your opinion violates the Terms and Conditions of Use, do not hesitate and contact us. We will remove such content. However, due to various interpretations of data JobLife reserves the right to retain the content considered as appropriate.
Under no circumstances JobLife shall be responsible for any content, information and loss of information or for the prevention of access to the service as such.

Fees

The basic account on the portal - Free Account - is free of charge and provides its users with some basic features and services of the portal. The other two accounts, Business and Business Nonstop, which are paid, allow users to use the potential of Joblife more effectively. When certain functions within the prepaid monthly account are consumed, users have the option to buy additional services beyond their account.
JobLife reserves the right to change the fees for its services or stop providing those services; whereas any changes shall be immediately announced to users in the “News” section which contains the dates when the changes take effect.

Final provisions

JobLife shall not guarantee that the service would meet all user requirements and that it would be provided without any interruptions or errors. JobLife shall not be responsible for any damage to users’ computer system or loss of users’ data caused by the downloading of the data from JobLife or from the resources acquired through JobLife.
JobLife shall not guarantee that job-seekers find suitable position and/or duration of employment or similar working relationship. At the same time, it shall not guarantee that employers find a suitable candidate for their offered position.
JobLife shall not be liable for any damage which may be caused to its users or third parties by using JobLife, including lost profit.
